IndependentSamplesBootstrap.reset(use_seed: bool = True) → None[source]¶

Reset the bootstrap to its initial state.

The generator is reset to the state it had when the bootstrap was created, which is the state determined by the seed if one was provided, and the data are restored to their original order.

Parameters:¶

use_seed: bool = True¶

This argument is not used. The generator is always reset to the state it had when the bootstrap was created.

Raises:¶

TypeError – If use_seed is not a bool.
